In the heart of the delightful historic village of Saint-Fargeau, the Maison des Charmilles is adjacent to our guest house Jeanne d’Arc.
Once you have pushed through the wicket gate onto the church square, you enter a vast and magnificent convivial and comfortable common room. (40 m2 and 4 m under the ceiling). The decor is set: a large wooden table, a well-equipped kitchen that makes you want to prepare market products, a living room and a stove for the cold months that encourage relaxation. The four bedrooms and two bathrooms are all very comfortable, decorated with family furniture and travel souvenirs…
The total capacity is 8 people. (No more than that for security and insurance reasons)
On foot, the alleys will guide you to the bakeries, the cafés, the Fléchais pastry shop, the pharmacy, the convenience store at Momo’s. The Bi1 supermarket is a two-minute drive away. The market of Saint-Sauveur en Puisaye takes place on Wednesdays, that of Saint Fargeau on Fridays, and that of Toucy on Saturday morning.
In the immediate vicinity there are 1001 sports and leisure activities that will appeal to young and old alike: horse riding, accro branche, swimming, Vélo rail, castles – Guedelon, Saint Fargeau, Ratilly, educational farm, Colette’s house, Boutissaint Park, workshops …

The house
On the ground floor there is a beautiful common room, a living room and an equipped kitchen for those who like to get in the kitchen. There is a large wood stove for the cozy atmosphere in the cold months. The French window opens onto the garden where it is good to sip a drink in the evening while admiring the rose window of the church. You can accommodate a small table there.
Four rooms are waiting for you.
The Losanges Suite is located on the mezzanine above the large room, its bathroom and toilet are on the ground floor. There is also a bedroom with two single beds below.
Upstairs is the Blue-Green Suite, composed of two other rooms side by side, with their bathroom and toilet. It is accessed either independently, from the outside or from the inside through the mezzanine bedroom.
In each of the rooms of 20 m2, double or separable beds, 90 by 200 cm.

Cold months: provide a small electricity package (index reading in euros on the Linky meter), and firewood (30 euros 1/2 stère).
