House Les Charmilles

In the heart of the charming historic village of Saint-Fargeau, the Charmilles house is adjacent to our Jeanne d'Arc guest house.

Once you have pushed through the wicket gate onto the church square, you enter a vast and magnificent convivial and comfortable common room. (40 m2 and 4 m under the ceiling). The decor is set: a large wooden table, a well-equipped kitchen that makes you want to prepare market products, a living room and a stove for the cold months that encourage relaxation. The four bedrooms and two bathrooms are all very comfortable, decorated with family furniture and travel souvenirs...

Total capacity is 8 people (no more for safety and insurance reasons)

On foot, the alleys will guide you to the bakeries, the cafés, the Fléchais pastry shop, the pharmacy, the Momo's convenience store. The Bi1 supermarket is a two-minute drive away. The market of Saint-Sauveur en Puisaye takes place on Wednesday, that of Saint Fargeau on Friday, and that of Toucy on Saturday morning.
In the immediate vicinity, there are 1001 sporting and leisure activities to please young and old alike: horse-riding, accro branche, swimming, Vélo rail, châteaux - Guedelon, Saint Fargeau, Ratilly, educational farm, Colette's house, Boutissaint Park, workshops, etc.

Parking is easy on the street.

The house

On the ground floor there is a lovely common room, a lounge and a fully equipped kitchen for those who like to cook. There is a large wood burning stove for a cosy atmosphere in the colder months. The French window opens onto the garden where it is nice to have a drink in the evening while admiring the rose window of the church. A small table can be placed here.

Four rooms await you.

The Losanges Suite is located on the mezzanine above the main room, with the bathroom and toilet on the ground floor. There is also a bedroom with two single beds below.

On the first floor, the Blue-Green SuiteThe second bedroom is a large room with two other bedrooms, side by side, with their own bathroom and toilet. Access is either independent, from the outside, or from the inside via the mezzanine bedroom.

In each of the 20 m² rooms, double or divisible beds, 90 by 200 cm.

From a minimum of 2 nights, you can choose to rent the whole house (max 8 persons) or only the Losanges suite (max 4 persons).
