About the guest house
Just 100m from the Château de Saint Fargeau and close to Guédelon, FIVE very spacious guest rooms and suites, a delightful priest's garden and an excellent, generous breakfast await you.
Nestled in the heart of the delightful historic village of Saint-Fargeau, at the foot of the listed 15th century church, and surrounded by the peaceful gardens of the area, Jeanne d'Arc House is a very comfortable, discreet and refined residence. Photos, books and souvenirs reinforce the charm and character of this address.
One is struck by the absolute silence barely disturbed by the bells of the mastiffs. Excellent and generous home-made breakfast served in the dining room or sometimes in the garden.
The house belongs to the memory of the village.
It was once home to the famous Joan of Arc, and later to Mother Boutevilain, a coal and sweets merchant. Carefully restored by Noémi Brunet, the Maison Jeanne d'Arc welcomes you to share a friendly, timeless moment under the mocking eye of its big chocolate labrador named Henri.
