Joan of Arc House
The house as a gite
The house is ideal for family reunions, birthdays, small weddings between friends, or get-togethers with friends.
It's located in the heart of the village, a stone's throw from the shops. Parking is easy on the street in front. There's a small walled garden, a lovely welcoming entrance, a large comfortable living room with a real dining room table, and a fully equipped kitchen for those who like to cook.
Total capacity is 15 people (no more for safety and insurance reasons).
On foot, the narrow streets lead to bakeries, pastry shops, cafés, a pharmacy and Momo's convenience store. The supermarket is a two-minute drive away. The pretty Toucy market on Saturday mornings is a 20-minute drive away. I'll give you my addresses for buying the best products at source.
Horse riding, golf, hiking, wine tasting, children's workshops, guided tours of tourist sites. I can help you get organized.
Order a meal from us if you prefer not to have to do anything. Simple, seasonal cuisine. Just like at home. Organic and healthy. Locavore philosophy.
CHILDREN AND GIRLS: There are loads of comics to read!
The garden
A parish priest's garden with southern accents, terraces and climbing roses, wisteria and sage, tomato plants, iris and honeysuckle, where you can enjoy doing nothing after a day of sightseeing. Here, you can see the weathercock on the church's proud spire, the starry sky, and above all, you'll be charmed and surprised by the peace that reigns here.
